Common Mistakes Made By New Entrepreneurs
I made many mistakes when I first started on my journey of entrepreneurship. I still make mistakes! But I learn from them and that is key!
Here are some common mistakes that newbies make and they are the same ones that I myself made! 🙂
1- Not setting a realistic goal. HUGE goals are great! “I want to make a million dollars!” is a great goal, but you will fail. Why? Because that is a massive goal.
Instead take that goal and work backwards. Break down that goal into smaller more attainable goals. For instance, how about I want to make an extra $5000 this month? Then write down your very precise path on what you will do daily to reach that goal. Watch my video at the end of this blog post for more info.
2-Not spending enough money or spending too much money on the wrong things. This is a scary, especially if you take it to the extreme either way. Invest wisely in seminars, great people, and awesome quality products. Watch my video at the end of this blog post for more info.
3-EGO!! Focusing on yourself, your product or service first will set you up to failure. No one cares about you or your product. People only care about themselves and how you can help them solve a problem. Put the people first and your product or service second. Watch my video at the end of this blog post for more info.
4-Not learning or thinking about marketing. When people think about you what do you want them to know you for? Look at your competitors and check out what they are doing for the marketing. Watch my video at the end of this blog post for more info.
5-FEAR!! This is a HUGE one! Most newbies find themselves fearing rejection and failure. Get over it!! The more you fail on your way to a million $$, the more you learn and the better you will become. Watch my video at the end of this blog post for more info.
I would love to hear from you in the comments!!
Cheers to your success!!
